Professional Development Action Plan

Teachers' professional development at The SMIC Private School is a collaborative jaunt in understanding our teacher's unique pedagogical challenges and instructional needs. We believe that providing our educators a window to the right growth opportunity, through the professional growth cycle to support and hone their craft to meet our students where they are and community differentiated needs, is not only vital but an essential ingredient in moving our community forward.

Use the space below to outline a succinct proposal (PDSA) for how you plan to unpack strategies learned during your professional development to move in your department/school forward. This proposal should be crafted in collaboration with your Sr. Director/designee. Your proposal should be designed around the PDSA Cycle and include measurable and realistic supports and resources to facilitate its execution.

It's important to consider how you achieve these goals. What are the two or three specific action steps you need to take to achieve the goals?
For example, your first action item may have a deadline of the first week. The second step may have a completion date for the end of the first month. The last step needs to be accomplished by the end of the semester.
The updated design will be a collaborative effort between you and your Principal, Sr. Director or designee based on school norms.
Did you complete the action step (C)? Are you making progress (P)? Is it incomplete (I)?
